Time to go for a ride

Field Trips Add comments

After we finished our last gig on Friday it was time to take a trip out into the grid.  A friend recommended checking out the sim owned by AM Radio so a quick search and teleport transported me into a different world.

This is a full sim and its set up as what looks like a midwestern landscape in the 1930s.  The details are absolutely awe inspiring and real show some of the true potential of creating in Second Life®.

A winter landscape presents itself.  It actually feels like the wind is whipping across the landscape.  A lonely farmhouse comes up and barn invites you to come explore.

It’s a full sim but thankfully I was able to rez up an Ambrosia Shuttle to get around in.  We drove around the landscape admiring the highly detailed objects.

The barn houses intricately crafted items such as this monoplane and antique roadster.  There are so many details to examine closely and the shading and lighting are truly impressive.

The attic of the farmhouse features old chairs and abandoned windmill parts.  Again the detail is really fascinating to see.

If you have some free time from shopping or griefing do yourself a favour and check out this sim.  I think you will really enjoy it. Take your time and really examine the detail closely.
