When I was approached by Maerok Westland for mall space for his jewelery store I was at first a bit skeptical. Another Jewelery store – how ordinary. Hasn’t it all been done already? But when i took a look at what Maerok had to offer I knew that this was something special that had to come to the Ambrosia Mall.
He offers customizable charm bracelets that the user can modify in an infinite number of ways. The instructions are clear and simple and a person with no building skills can make a personalized charm bracelet. The results are truly astonishing.
Phil Kearny: So when did you come up with the idea for customizable charm bracelets?
Maerok Westland: about 4 months ago, was playing with some jewellery and it just popped in there
Maerok Westland: wouldn’t it be cool if…
Phil Kearny: Is there anything like this on second life?
Maerok Westland: I haven’t seen anything, not that offers multiple options, and that you can add to at any time. I’m pretty sure its unique.
Phil Kearny: So the concept of this is what? You buy the charm thingy…
Maerok Westland: bracelet.. :)
Phil Kearny: Whatever, this is girly stuff to me.
Phil Kearny: And then you can customize it? Like you can write out Skank?
Maerok Westland: Yes, it gives everyone the chance to put their own stamp on their jewelery, without having to be an expert builder
Phil Kearny: That’s great stuff! Is this your first SL business?
Maerok Westland: no, I have been making eyes for the last year
Phil Kearny: this is quite a step up
Maerok Westland: if you check mine out you’ll see they are pretty unique as well :)
Phil Kearny: Let me cam in…Whoah, thats a little freaky dude.
Maerok Westland: lool they are popular with vampires :)
Phil Kearny: so is blood
Maerok Westland: lmao
Maerok Westland: but yes, definitely a step up :)
Phil Kearny: So are you adding constantly to the accessories available for the charm bracelet?
Maerok Westland: Yes, I am adding to the accessories every week so check the store for updates.
I have also provided all the Ambrosia Dancers with samples so you can see how the bracelets look on an actual model. Just ask one of them to show you.
Phil Kearny: It’s been a pleasure talking with you Maerok
Maerok Westland: Same Phil.
