DJ Kiwi’s set had a little twist today. Dusty came up with a plan to have a themed party and after some serious deliberation we announced the shortest shorts party!!
Dusty and Kiwi and I put up prize money for the most daring shorts for both guys and the gals. Our esteemed Ambrosians did not let us down as all types of shorts clad avatars came flooding into the club. Of course we knew it was gonna be good because Ambrosians never let you down when they know that there is a theme party at hand.
Our winners of the day were Yvonne Restless ..who had the tiniest sexiest shorts u could imagine and Jaycob Belwraith who packed a whole lot of yummy into those shorts. So congratulations to our 2 winners! Hmmmmm, what theme will we come up with next? Stay Tuned!
As always, you never know whats gonna happen when DJ Xtreem takes over the airwaves and today was certainly no different.
What started as a simple song about being alone, turned into a full on rock party, with a quickly assembled band named either Phlegm or Ambroziaks, depending on who was naming it.
As you can see, DJ Xtreem quckly ripped out the drum kit and was followed closely by Meatpants and Kaz on guitars. Even the on duty barman, Kev managed to rip out a guitar and still provide drinks to all the VIP’s.
The rock got heavier and the band got pumping to some awesome tunes, which were much appreciated by the ever growing crowd. The entire sim was thumping with the heavy rock sounds coming from the club.
The crowd got a lot more than they would have even thought, but what else can you expect from the most rocking club in SL.

I think this is the definitive video coverage for the costume party at ambrosia . Conrad Pedalo is some sort of freakin machinima genius. Im not Siskel or Ebert but I give this video two thumbs up.
For those of you who experience the SL world on an older computer or a bare minimum laptop its quite amazing to see how good the simulator can run on a high end machine such as the one Conrad uses to create these movies. You can actually see almost all 50 avatars in the club. And most of them are not grey! WOW!
Yesterday’s costume bash was a complete epic success. Hosted by DJ Geemix, the gala event resulted in a completely maxed out simulator for the full two hours. The Ambrosia Dancer’s IMs were bombarded with people begging to have them eject someone so that they could Teleport in! Geemix gave out over 2500 Lindens in prizes to the lucky winners. There were so many amazing outfits that it would take pages to display them all. Here are some of the best.
