Late, late last night Ambrosia Dance Club got a surprise. DJ Slingshot arrived loaded down with a keg of beer, and spirits and pizza…….and announced we were having a “Pyjama and Boxers” party. And there were prizes!!!! Clever Slingshot had been hatching a plot to put a bright candle under the dark night time hours and wake us all up.

Frantic searching in inventories, and like magic your Ambrosia girls, Purple, Spiritbare and Careen were ready for the party. Even brought their teddy bears. Jessika had lost her see-thru nightie, of course, so just look what Purple gave her to wear!

And then everyone in the club stripped down to their best sleeping suits and fluffy slippers, and the party started to rock.

Slingshot had even raided his piggy bank for the prize money and the well deserved winners of the best outfit competition were ………… Fanfare !!!!!!!

Hours later we all rolled into our own beds, with a few exceptions but we were all too full of pizza anyway. A great party happened right out of the blue – well that’s Ambrosia Dance Club for you – well done DJ Slingshot. Now what will he do next??

Phemie Alcott turned in a stellar performance on Tuesday night. This amazing and versatile songstress sings, plays guitar and keyboards all with a charming wit and without missing a beat. Is she reminiscent of Phoebe from “Friends” performing in the coffee shop? Not at all. A crowd of over 55 showed up to enjoy her soulful renditions of popular songs.
