The latest fashion trend at the club is guys going shirtless. I can see why. The ladies just love it and it saves a ton of money buying those expensive shirts. Add the that the fact that you don’t have to worry about flying sweat or offensive underarm odor and you have yourself a winning combination for looking smooth and suave on the dance floor.
Just coming in shirtless will never do.  For maximum effect you need to have a shirt “ripped” off your body by the voracious harpies that inhabit the dance floor. That is when you reach your full potential as a “man SLut”.
Just because you are shirtless does not mean you are not fully accessorized. Tattoos are a popular way to adorn your buff body as well as ornamentation such as nipple rings.
So guys, don’t be afraid to bare it all. Use an advantage that the female avatars can’t use at Ambrosia. Shirts off is the way to go!
On December 29th Ambrosia Dance club will be 3 years old! For Second Life that equals some sort of eternity with most other clubs opening and failing within the same month. In appreciation for all the support that the Ambrosians have given us over the years, we will be having a gala party with 50/50 tickets, cash prizes and gifts from the retailers. The party will start at 1 PM and be hosted by the incomparable DJ Mark Attenborough.
Dress will be come as you are since most people can handle that quite well. Dressing up a bit never hurts anyone but if you must come in your torn jeans you will not be thrown out or torn to pieces by Pepper the Tiger. Well, that might happen actually. She has been very unpredictable lately. See you there!
Sometimes the wrong thing just comes out. You mean to say one thing and another thing comes out of your mouth. When Dj Layla received a tip from an Ambrosian named Dirk near the end of her set on Saturday she thanked him by saying “Thank you for the sweet Dick” followed by a slight pause as she digested what actually came out. She recovered quickly but had the misfortune to be followed by DJ Mark Attenborough who made a lot cheeky comments on it and of course I happened to be in the sim at that moment and thought it was uproarious.
If you have not heard DJ Layla she is on almost every morning from 4 – 6 AM entertaining Ambrosians with her sweet voice and rocking tunes. Make sure to catch her show when you are on at those hours!
If you have never had a chance to see a live musician in Second life I would recommend that you attend a performance by Andreus Gustafuson. He plays regularly at the Ambrosia Dance Club and is a phenomenon of musical virtuosity. Anj creates all the tracks that you hear during his performances in his state of the art studio and carefully layers them with live guitar, keyboard and vocals to create a musical environment that transports the listener to another dimension.
