Dance in my Shoes
by Veronica Skinstad
Avatar feet tend to leave something to be desired. I’ve seen feet that look as if they were run over several times by a steamroller and others that look as though they come from the offspring of a cross between a platypus and Aquaman. Needless to say when shoes that came with prim feet came out, I was ecstatic.
One of my major character flaws is impatience. Plus, I tend to be an accident waiting to happen. Although I loved the idea of prim feet, I became easily frustrated trying to get them to fit so they looked natural and not as if I had tried to superglue the feet of an over-sized mannequin onto my ankles. The color matching for the skin also was somewhat frustrating because I’m a perfectionist, and even using imaging software, I could never seem to get the skin shade just right.
If you can relate, then I have the solution for you and it’s located right at Ambrosia: B&G!! B&G has come out with a line of shoes that include prim feet. The shoes are adorable; the pre-set skin shades seem to match perfectly to my skin without any fussing; the nail-polish colors include the full spectrum; the shoe resizer is easy to use, if you actually have to use it (they fit me well without resizing) and most importantly, the shoes are the most inexpensive prim-feet shoes that I have found (that are high quality and that I will actually wear). The shoes also come with B&G’s normal features including different sound options and a bling option.
The shoes are located in the B&G store (follow the red carpet out the door to the right of the dance floor, if you are facing the stage) and are sold for a mere $350L (as a prim-feet-shoe connoisseur, let me assure you that this is a fantastic price for prim-feet shoes!!) The shoes are available in various sizes and colors to match any/all outfits (unless you are a robot alien, in which case you will be melted on site anyway). Remember Ambrosians: prim feet are happy feet!
