Ambrosia features Live Artists almost everyday on the big stage. Our Booking agent, Roxy, scours the grid to seek out the finest musical talent to be found on Second Life. Their styles range from blues to hard driving rock, but the common denominator is amazing talent.
One of the best live acts to be seen anywhere is when Maximillion Kleene rolls into town. With his laid back style and hypnotic voice, Max’s act always packs the sim chock full of adoring avatars who shower him with prim panties. This will be the fifth appearance of Max at the club which speaks volumes of his popularity.
His guitar riffs are right on and his voice has a style that always delivers with intoxicating intensity. Every one of Max’s songs is an cleverly constructed piece of of a puzzle, featuring arrangements sparkling with bright guitar backing, drenched in melodic echo and punctuated by the unique twists of his commentary. The standing ovation that erupts at the close of every one of his songs is a testament to the musical wizardry of this consummate artist.

Max will be appearing on Wednesday July 1, at 4 PM so be sure to mark your calendar as you don’t want to miss this gig.

There is a song whose lyrics are
“Let us die young or let us live forever
We don’t have the power but we never say never
Sitting in a sandpit, life is a short trip
The music’s for the sad men”
If you look around the grid you will see that most people with human avatars are predominantly young and beautiful. No one really ages or goes past the age of 30, there is little grey hair to be seen. No illness or disabilities. Its a strange world where everyone is ageless and where children and the elderly are excluded for the most part.

So when this avatar showed up shuffling around the dance floor it really caused quite a stir. People became agitated at the sight of the elderly gentleman and naturally the person behind the avatar was obviously playing it for a joke. But aging is a reality of life and its refreshing to see someone actually bring a fresh dose of that into the club even if he was using his cane to lift up the dresses of the “young” hotties at the club.

Ambrosia just recently topped 32000 in traffic, an all time high, with over 1000 visitors in a single day. We would like to thank everyone for making Ambrosia as popular as it is.

Here is an item i would love to see more clubs use. It’s a straightforward visitor counter. You visit the club and you are counted. Pretty simple indeed. Back in April, Jack Linden promised to remove bots and campers from the world. It is now June 27 and all the major offenders of traffic gaming are still at it. The owner created Bots and campers are all still in place driving up the traffic so that the clubs they populate rank higher in search. Ambrosia continues to be buried deep in the listings.
Ambrosia Dance Club will continue to plod along steadily and increase our traffic the hard way. By creating an atmosphere of a real life club that people want to return to again and again. And hopefully they will tell a friend, and that friend will tell a friend, and so on and so on…
