Ambrosia Dance Club

There are so many clubs operating in the world now compared to when Ambrosia first opened its doors in 2006. It seems like dozens more open up everyday. So how does the new or existing venue owner get an edge up on the competition and get found in search? Well, you inflate your traffic numbers of course. And how do you do that? Why, simple. You get 25 Alts and park them in a sky platform 500 meters above your property. Then make your land no fly so no one can see this nefarious gaming.

All dressed up and no where to go

Voila, an instant 40,000 traffic rating! Golly, is this why there is so much lag? Well, let’s see, on this island there were two real people and 25 well dressed zombies. Hmmm, does this happen often in second life? You bet it does. It’s been going on forever and will continue to because the Lindens love artificial numbers. Just look at the mini map on every sim that shows a rating above 30,000. The owners of this travesty at least had the common sense to put up a wall around their bots so they could not be pushed over the edge. Or can they?

With a flight assist tool you can get a running start that will give zombies like this just enough of a shove where they end up going right through the thin wall! What fun! Try that little tip and see if it works for you. Happy Bot hunting!

People come in to Ambrosia wearing a variety of interesting outfits that run the gamut from simple unadorned clothing to complex what the hell is it multi-prim outfits. Today I give you two rather extreme examples of what i am talking about.

Getting good traction on the dance floor is important

This is an amazing case of appearing mostly naked while still wearing an amazing number of prims. Kudos for this outfit.

Pepper eyes her next meal hungrily

Here is the classic example of not enough prims and another one for the ban list. It’s either feast or famine in a typical day. But there is never a shortage of interesting outfits to check out.

Naturally when staff asked these miscreants to stop the irritating multi-line gestures it was taken as an offense because apparently these screen spammers feel it’s their God-given right to take up the entire left hand side of the screen so that no one can have a normal conversation. One can only conjecture how many lines they were able to spit out during their 300 meter plunge into the ocean below.

It is hard to believe how time flies when you are having fun.  It seems like almost yesterday when the club first opened its doors on a little lot on mainland in Sabra sim.  Today marks an occasion.  Ambrosia Dancer Weekday Market celebrates her two year anniversary today at the club.  She carries the special tag of Prima Donna for being the longest continuously active dancer at Ambrosia.

A proper English lady, Weekday is known for her biting sarcasm and penchant for multiple cups of tea throughout the day.  She can be found almost every morning at the club greeting and chatting with guests.  Congratulations to Weekday and we hope that you are not going to retire anytime soon.
