Wild West Party a Smash

Events No Comments »

Once again Ambrosians flocked to the club at high noon PDT to attend the much anticipated DJ Phil’s Wild West Party and show off their costumes.  This friday event has been growing larger each week with over 30 people in the club strutting their stuff on the line dance balls.  The costumes just seem to get better and better each week:  Check out this sexy number:

“Sapphires Destiny in a hot Deviance Design costume”

Lots of random prizes were handed out during the event this week, rather than having the ubiquitous popularity contest.  I think it’s so much better to reward people on the effort they put into the themes rather than how many Alts they can teleport in to the club to vote for them on the contest boards.  We awarded prizes for Most Creative,Sexiest and Funniest Western Outfits.

Stephan Levenque and Tinyjewel Checchinato thinking about taking a few prim scalps...

Zanya Dix, Weekday Market and special guest “Puffy the Cloud” cavort on the dance floor.

So be sure not to miss next week’s event.  Start shopping now for your outfit and stimulate the SL economy.  There are a ton of starving designers out there.

Today saw Ambrosia invaded by trailer trash.  Fashionista Awards were handed out for those best dressed in hinterland clothing and accessories.  This is a favorite theme of mine with lots of possibilities for inventiveness.  Somehow Ambrosia Dancer, Veronika Skinstad always manages to come up with something that makes everyone else ROFL.

What? Tobacco can cause a low birth weight? Thats ok; I want a skinny baby anyway.

Next party coming up at the 7 o’clock hour   The Theme is “Sexy” so show up in a sexy outfit to get an award.  This should be a rollicking good time.

Bras and Briefs Party

Last night’s party  was sizzling!  Ambrosians were all over the dance floor jumpin’ and jivin’ to hot music scantily clad in nothing more than cleavage enhancing bras and tight fitting panties.  The girls looked hot too.

Over 40 Ambrosians showed up for this event.  Many arrived fully clothed but were encouraged by others to strip down rather quickly.

Pabl0 Raffo shakin’ it in his tighty whities.  Some bald headed girl in the background, but with a body like that, does hair really matter?

This hot duo were really sizzling on the dance floor while using the newly installed couples dance machine.  It’s always a good idea to dress to impress in the club.   You never know when the roving photographer will capture your next Ambrosia moment!

Here a Pasty nearsighted Ambrosian tries to get up close and personal with a dancer.  Time to hit the tanning beds maybe, Dude.

Whacky Wednesday Parties

Wednesdays are always the best party of the week for Ambrosians. We kicked it off with DJ Phil at 10 AM filling in for the unpredictable DJ Gerg. The theme was Best in Denim which is easy to pull off. I do not recall who won that one but it was a great party nonetheless with about 35 people at its peak.

DJ Michel (pronounced Mee Shell) followed up at noon with best in Tattoos. The variety of ink showing was really interesting to see. Apparently everyone has a decent Tat in inventory so it was difficult for me to decide who to vote for. The winner was the lovely Jesseleanne Sawson.  I think that was a well deserved win.

nice Tats!

DJ Madisen was up next with a rockin party of old and new classics on her wildly entertaining show.  She may not be the best speaker but she sure knows how to mix up the music to get the crowd howling.

The 8 oclock Live performance from Bosco Constantine was canceled for unknown reasons so DJ Uber stepped up to bat with one of his latest mixes.  The surprise impromptu theme was “Best in Black”  which was won handily by Adrian Svenska .
